Internet Outage in Hot Springs
An AC unit failure in Seattle has caused equipment in our upstream provider’s ( the company that provides our Internet ) network. We are working with them and monitoring the situation, however, at present, we have no estimated time for restoration of services. Internet traffic is currently passing ( albeit slowly ) over our emergency backup link to Denver. Please be patient as we deal with this unprecedented heat wave! Thank you!
10:42 pm Update: Seattle appears to be coming back online, however, we haven’t received an update from onsite technician yet. Services may still be sporadic.
6/29/21 10:00 am Update: We have confirmed that equipment overheat in Cogent’s network in Seattle was the cause for last night’s outage. AC Technicians are working to hopefully ensure a similar overheat does not occur this evening.
