72nd Annual Homesteader Days
First held in 1949, the Hot Springs Homesteader Days event celebrates the pioneering spirit of the original homesteaders of this area. This event, which begins on the second weekend of June every year, has a little something for everyone–live music, a two-day rodeo, food & games, car show, unique street vendors and a parade.
The two-day rodeo is organized by HSTC in memory of Phyllis and Robert Ekblad, and is sponsored by local vendors throughout the Hot Springs and Flathead region. We at the telephone company are proud to be a participating sponsor in the rodeo.
This year’s rodeo was a record turn out for Hot Springs, with an estimated 1500+ tickets sold at the gate on Saturday, and 700+ tickets sold for Sunday! At its busiest, the rodeo grounds parking lot was jam-packed with vehicles. In addition to the town locals, many visitors to our rodeo were from out-of-state. Thank you for helping to make this year’s rodeo our biggest ever!
The Homesteader’s Day Parade was also a success!
