Purchased by Grant E. Preston in January of 1935, the Hot Springs Telephone Company consisted of 80 customers that were all directed by a single operator: Mrs. Garnet Preston. Since that time, Hot Springs Telephone Co. has grown to a customer base of over 700 active phone lines, and over 550 installed Internet accounts. We maintain over 100 miles of fiber throughout our exchange.
